Commission International Jurists
It is currently free to study in Sweden, but the Swedish government is changing the rules as of next school year 2011/2012. Studies will still be free for citizens from EU, EEA and Switzerland, but all other students will be required to pay a tuition fee. How much the fee is depends on the university the student is applying to. There are however several scholarships to apply for and this is a guide to where to find the best scholarships for studies in Sweden.
Scholarships Through the Swedish Institute
The Swedish Institute is a government agency that administers over 500 scholarships for international students coming to Sweden to study each year. On their website they have an easy guide where you can simply enter your nationality and intended level of study to find out if you are eligible to apply for any international scholarships.
Scholarships Through Erasmus-Mundus
The scholarship is open to international students from all over the world. The application for studies starting in the academic year of 2011/2012 should be submitted no later than the last quarter of 2010.
